In a close game it was the Cleveland Buckeyes 6, the San Francisco Golden
Seals 4 at Mistake by the Lake.
In the bottom of the 3rd inning Cleveland scored 2 runs when they had 3 base
hits.  They would be enough to earn the win.  Cleveland rapped out 10 hits
for the afternoon.  
Dick Ellsworth(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 and 1/3 innings and
allowing 2 runs. Bobby Shantz earned his 1st save.  Juan Marichal(0-1) took
the loss.
