The San Francisco Golden Seals nipped the Cleveland Buckeyes 3 to 2 at
Dimaggio Field in a hard fought contest.
San Francisco went ahead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning scoring a
single run.  Gary Geiger ripping a solo home run (his 1st of the season).
Art Fowler(1-0) got relief help from Hoyt Wilhelm who was excellent in relief
and gained credit for his 1st save.  
Don Schwall(0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.  He allowed 1 hit and no
walks in 1 and 1/3 innings.
