The Los Angeles Angels nipped the Sacramento River Cats 5 to 4 at Raley Field
in a hard fought contest.
In the top of the 7th inning Los Angeles went on top for good plating an
isolated run.  Overall Los Angeles out-hit Sacramento 10 to 7.  
The winning pitcher was Arnold Earley(1-0) who allowed 1 run in 1 inning.
Earley got help from Bob Miller who earned his 1st save.  The losing pitcher
was Frank Lary(0-1) in relief.
