Al Kaline had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Springfield Bulls beat the Chicago
River Dogs by a score of 10 to 7.
Springfield scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning when they had 3 base

of his teammates. Springfield managed 13 hits in their victory.
Gene Brabender(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 1 and 2/3
innings. Pete Richert recorded the save, his 1st. Pat Jarvis(0-1) was given
