With the crowd on their collective feet, screaming at the top of their lungs,
Boston Beaneaters rallied to top Pittsburgh Pirates by the score of 6 to 5.
Boston had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 runs
utilizing 2 base hits.  Danny Cater kicked off the action when he doubled.
After an out was recorded, Alex Johnson came to the plate and lifted one out
of the park for a two run home run making Boston victorious to the delight of
the the home town crowd.  It was roller coaster of a game as the lead change
hands 5 times.  
The win went to Diego Segui(1-0) who allowed 2 runs in 1 inning. Jim
Brewer(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief.  He allowed 2 hits and no walks
in 1/3 of an inning.  
This win by Boston continues their recent hot streak.  In their last ten
games, they have a record of 8-2.  For the season, they are a league leading
10-3.  With this loss, Pittsburgh has a 5-3 record of late, 5-3 overall.
