the distance as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates by the
score of 7 to 3 at Three Rivers Stadium.
Henderson was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine
day at their team's expense. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 5th inning
and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 7th inning.
Cleveland banged out 8 hits on the night.
Lee(1-0), allowing 3 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Tom Seaver(1-1)
