The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance provided by Dwyer. He smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 1st inning, bombed a two-run dinger in the 6th inning and delivered a base-hit in the 8th inning. Chesapeake had 14 hits overall, while Vancouver had 5.
