Don Gullett(1-0) and Gary Nolan(0-1) treated the Cleveland fans to a fine
pitching duel at Municipal Stadium.  The Minnesota Xpress eventually emerged
as victors over the Cleveland Indians by the score of 2 to 1.
Minnesota scored 1 run in the 4th inning.  Neither team managed to score after
the 4th inning.  Gullett got relief help from Dave Laroche who gained credit
for his 1st save.
