Rollie Fingers had a strong outing as the Cleveland Indians outscored the
Houston Astros in 13 innings 3 to 2.
Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings.  Cleveland came out on
top in the 13th inning.  After an out was recorded, Joe Morgan banged out a
single.  Craig Cunningham then called for a steal which was successful.  Ken
Henderson then ripped a one-base hit making Cleveland the victor and
beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Cleveland out-hit Houston for the
game, 16 hits to 10.  
Tommy Boggs(1-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Dave
Freisleben(0-1) took the loss in relief.  He surrendered 2 hits and no walks
in 1/3 of an inning.
