39,579 fans watched an exciting game at Dimaggio Field.  The San Francisco
Golden Seals topped the Mt Sinai Mad Dogs by the slimmest of margins, 2 to 1.
The score was knotted at 1 after nine innings.  San Francisco won it in the
10th inning.  Dave Collins drew a walk.  Dave McKay stepped into the batter's
box and he laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Bill Madlock then laced a base-hit
resulting in an exciting win for San Francisco and a raucous post-game
celebration by the home town fans.  San Francisco had 8 hits overall, while
Mt Sinai had 3.  
Ron Davis(2-0) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory. Rollie
Fingers(1-1) took the loss in relief.  He surrendered 4 hits and 1 walk in
2/3 of an inning.
