Right fielder Dick Davis had 2 base hits at The Shipyard as the San Francisco
Golden Seals beat the Great Lakes Whitecaps by the count of 6 to 2.

San Francisco scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning when they came up with 3 base
hits.  That was all the offense they were to need.  San Francisco finished
with 13 hits while Great Lakes ended up with 8.  

The win was credited to Doc Medich(2-2) who went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 2
runs. Jerry Reuss(1-2) ended up with the loss.  He allowed 9 hits and 1 walk
in 6 innings.
