Carney Lansford slammed a homerun and had 5 RBI and Lamarr Hoyt shutout San
Francisco while allowing the Seattle bullpen a day-off at Dimaggio Field as
the Seattle Red Barons beat the San Francisco Golden Seals 7 to 0.
Lansford had a good day at the plate.  He tripled which was good for two runs
in the 4th inning and rifled a three-run blast in the 6th inning.  Seattle
banged out 11 hits on the afternoon.  
Hoyt(2-0) was credited with the shutout. Mike Scott(0-2) took the loss.  He
gave up 6 hits and 1 walk in 5 innings.
