Dale Murphy hit a homerun and had 4 RBI as the Cleveland Buckeyes defeated the
San Francisco Golden Seals 10 to 8 at Dimaggio Field.
Murphy provided the offensive punch.  He clubbed a three-run home run in the
1st inning and doubled which brought home a run in the 5th inning.  Cleveland
had 12 hits for the night.  
John Butcher allowed 4 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the victory.
Rollie Fingers preserved the game for Butcher, recording his his 4th save.
Bruce Berenyi was the losing pitcher. He gave up 3 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings of work.
