Golden Seals topped the Cleveland Buckeyes by the slimmest of margins, 3 to 2.
Ron Reed pitched well in relief and was credited with the victory. He
allowed only 1 hit and no walks in 1 and 1/3 innings and chalked up 4
strikeouts.  Cleveland was out-hit by San Francisco, 11 hits to 5.  
Dave Smith recorded his 1st save.  The loss was charged to Jeff Lahti in
relief.  He pitched 2 innings and surrendered 3 hits and 1 walk.
