The Baltimore Orioles and the Cleveland Buckeyes locked up in an exciting
one-run game at Memorial Stadium.
The final score was the Baltimore Orioles 4, the Cleveland Buckeyes 3.
Baltimore did all of it's offensive work in the 3rd inning as they scored 4
runs on 4 base hits. That early scoring was all that Buddy Black(1-2)
needed. Cleveland was out-hit by Baltimore, 6 hits to 2.
Black got help from Jamie Easterly who was credited with his 1st save. Bill
Gullickson was the losing pitcher. He allowed 4 hits and no walks in 4 innings.
