41,248 fans watched an exciting game at Manchester Park.  The Manchester
Minutemen topped the Cleveland Buckeyes by the slimmest of margins, 2 to 1.
The game was won by Manchester when they scored a run in the bottom of the 8th
inning.  After two outs Chili Davis lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'.
Cleveland tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.  
The victory was credited to John Tudor(1-1) who went 8 innings, allowing 1
run. Rick Anderson earned his 1st save.  Scott Sanderson(0-1) was given the
loss in relief.
