Kirk Gibson had 2 base hits as the Cleveland Buckeyes beat the Chicago Fire by
a score of 4 to 1.
Jack Morris(3-0) gave a fine effort for Cleveland.  He went 8 innings
surrendering 7 hits and 2 walks dropping his ERA from 2.75 to 2.28.  Morris
got relief help from Mike Henneman who was excellent in relief and gained
credit for his 4th save.  
Doyle Alexander(0-2) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 6 innings allowing 6
hits and 2 walks.
