The Chicago Fire nipped the Columbus Redbirds in 13 innings 2 to 1 at Busch
Stadium in a hard fought contest.
The score was a scoreless tie after nine. Chicago came out the victor in the
13th inning.  After an out was recorded, Dave Winfield delivered a solo
blast.  Chicago totaled 10 hits on the night.  
Bryan Harvey(2-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing
