In an exciting finish the Sioux Falls Canaries pulled out a win over the Baltimore Terrapins by a score of 3 to 2 at Shea Stadium.
The game was decided in the 9th inning. Dave Roberts smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 1st of the season) resulting in an exciting win for Sioux Falls and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Sioux Falls finished with just 6 hits in the victory.
