Matt Nokes had a good day at the plate. He doubled in the 5th inning, delivered a base-hit in the 7th inning and rifled a three-run blast in the 9th inning. Columbus dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings. Pascual Perez(2-1) went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Bruce Hurst got the save, his 2nd. Danny Darwin(0-1) absorbed the loss. He was unable to control the Columbus offense and allowed 10 hits and 4 walks in 7 innings.
