Terry Puhl had 2 base hits and Doug Drabek had a strong outing as the
Albuquerque Dukes outscored the San Francisco Golden Seals 2 to 0.
San Francisco was unable to climb back into it after Albuquerque went ahead
for good in the 2nd inning plating one baserunner on 2 hits. That was all
the runs Drabek(3-0) needed. Albuquerque took care of San Francisco with no
trouble in the bottom of the 9th.
The losing pitcher was Mike Scott(0-2). He surrendered 1 run and 6 hits in 7
and 1/3 innings.
