The Albuquerque Dukes and the San Francisco Golden Seals locked up in an
exciting one-run game at Chase Field. The final score was the Albuquerque
Dukes 3, the San Francisco Golden Seals 2.
Albuquerque scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 8th inning. After
two were out Tony Gwynn delivered a base-hit. Terry Puhl came next and he
doubled scoring the run. San Francisco had a chance in the 9th but they came
up short.
The win went to Greg Hibbard(2-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Chuck Crim
earned the save, his 1st. John Wetteland(2-2) was given the loss in relief.
