Chris Bosio carried a no-hitter into the 9th inning as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Albuquerque Dukes by the score of 2 to 1 at Memorial Stadium. Bosio(1-0) was on top of his game. He allowed just 2 hits and 1 walk in 8 and 2/3 innings. The right-handed Bosio lost his no-hit bid when Brett Butler singled with two outs in the 9th inning. Albuquerque had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short. Bosio got relief help from Jeff Russell who gained credit for his 2nd save. Tom Glavine(0-1) ended up with the loss. 'It's a disheartening loss, no question about it' said John O'Donnell 'But we have to get over it and get ready for the next game.'
